Pirakeet

This is Pirakeet, the species of Dragon I have created. Pirakeet is pirate and parakeet combined. I think of them as reptilian birds that can't fly. I gave them bandannas and named them after pirates because reptiles and birds are pirate things, you know?
There are gender differences between Pirakeets too. Females have white stomachs and a brown beak. They also have blue spots on their stomach, blue backs, blue bandannas, and rounded toes. Male pirakeets have blue stomachs and beaks. They have white backs and bandannas with blue spots. Males toes are more straight and precise. They also may have white paws.

All Pirakeets have retractable claws that come out of their toes. When retracted, it is impossible to know that they have claws. They love to swim. There are 2 kinds of pirakeets, warm water dwelling and cold water dwelling. Warm water dwelling pirakeets grow to the size of a keyboard(cute!). Cold water dwelling pirakeets are about 9 inches tall(twice the size as warm water dwelling) and around a foot longer than warm water dweling. Pirakeets are in fact mammels but can stay under water for around 6 minutes. Warm water dwelling pirakeets can sometimes stay under for up to 10 minutes though.

Oh and also, males have a sharp beak tooth thing.
